Best time to eat
The top chicken and lemon recipe is one of the classic go-tos for a fat loss nutrition program and featured on many RE Fitness custom meal plans. This meal can be eaten almost anytime. The lemon will also preserve the food better if you'd like to meal prep this one!
- 4 chicken breasts
- Juice of 2 lemons
- Zest of one lemon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp fresh thyme
- 1 tsp. pepper
- ½ tsp. sea salt
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Whisk together lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, thyme, sea salt and pepper and set aside.
3. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour lemon mixture over top, making sure to completely cover them.
4. Bake for about 40 minutes, checking halfway through for tenderness. Top with a dash of sea salt and pepper and enjoy!
