Many of you have probably been waiting with bated breath for me to announce the winners of the 30-Day Core Challenge. After several days I’ve finally finished sifting through the end progress pics, and I have to say the competition was FIERCE.
So many participants blew me away with their incredible commitment and consistency over the past 4 weeks. This entailed sticking to a pretty rigorous body type-specific diet and completing 15-minute fasted AM core workouts that ramped up in intensity every day. The hard work certainly shows from the truly incredible results that so many participants achieved, and I couldn’t be prouder of everyone who rolled with me.
Although it was extremely difficult to choose just two winners to receive the coveted Apple watches, the nods ultimately go to my boy Chris Simmons and motivator extraordinaire Stephanie Wogoman. Here’s a little recap of their journeys:
At 5’9″ and 28 years old, Chris came into the core challenge seeking to shred down in preparation to hit the stage for his first men’s physique show. Over the course of 30 days, Chris shaved down to 3% body fat and whittled 4 inches off his waistline (going from 32″ to 28″). He also kept his motivation levels incredibly high, hitting me up on Snapchat regularly with badass pics of his vascular upper body and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-like abs. Oh, and did I mention Chris did all this while keeping up with a rigorous police schedule?
Stephanie, 46, joined the core challenge having fallen off the wagon with her fitness routine. But she quickly and expertly turned things around! By sticking to her challenge diet and following the training schedule for 4 weeks, Stephanie managed to drop 13 pounds and lose 2 inches from her waistline. I personally think of Stephanie as the “Motivation Master,” consistently putting out positive vibes to keep others inspired to hit their goals as she barrels toward her own.
While I initially was going to announce just two winners, there are so many more participants who deserve serious recognition for their efforts and amazing progress. Here are seven people who blew the doors off this challenge, transforming not just their midsections but also their lives in the short span of only 30 days.
